[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is not my bet shot of a Great Blue Heron, but I saw something in it I had not seen before. In the shot the heron has stabbed it's beak in the water to catch lunch. I notice that it only went in up to it's eyes. I assume it did that so it could see it's prey better.

To some of you birders out there, is this true all the time? Do they always keep their eyes above the water line or do they some times go deeper.

Some times picture revel nature in many different ways.
