I was a heck of a distance away, but still did the best I could in capturing this critter that sincerely believed he was invisible!

I wanted to put my name on this, but the red is distracting, but the other colors couldn't be seen. Any ideas on how to fix that aspect? Other than that, I really enjoyed this.

I made myself at home in their yard a couple of weeks ago and got caught. They were kind enough to allow me to continue to frequent their place and allowed me into an oasis of sorts in their backyard...only this particular day, there were folks mowing their lawn (a pleasant sound, even though my allergies are terrible for it means we have our wonderful yellow orb back!) so I ended up sitting in their front yard with a camera, drink, dog, his water, his snacks, a book, and a bag of food for the critters. The only thing I lacked was an umbrella for shade...would it be greedy if I requested one even though they've already decided to put out a chair for me???

I hope your weekend was enjoyable - oh, and we discovered why I had problems with my Internet. Turns out somebody was piggy-backing on my signal and managed to take most if not all of the strength - they were downloading movies, games, music, and so on. I had no idea, and being a fairly trusting person (not to mention naive), that something like that could happen. I mention this in case some of the wonderful people here have wireless Internet - and to ask you to secure your line so you don't have the issues (nearly a month and a half with undependable internet that wasn't my fault nor was it the fault of my provider) I encountered. Thanks, Bob, for sparing some time to help me get a handle on it!

Meanwhile, please enjoy this 'invisible' squirrel.

:-)
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

I don't know what tips Bob gave you but managed a fantastic shot of this cute squirrel munching away. He reminds me of a Cocker Spaniel I had who would hide under furniture and thought since he couldn't see us we couldn't see him. Everything about this is wonderful - lovely colors, fantastic details, great composition.

Gorgeous image Kathy!!
He reminds me of when our kids were young and they tried to hid while eating a cookie that they just taken out of the cookie jar.
Very good detail, color and exposure! Fantastic capture!! TFS.
