A nice way to present a source of nectar Bob, the wild rose being a mecca for many insects for this reason. The POV shows the circle of stamens around the nectar treasure very well in an attractive composition of form and colour. Makes me want to be a bee!

Hi Bob,
Looks like you could have pulled back a bit here,and an f/stop of f/8 etc would have given you much better DOF
This looks just a touch soft and grainy although the colours are great.
I guess it will take a wee whle to get used to the new Leica.

Nice macro, Bob. Great subject, especially the color and softish lighting. The DoF works for me. Might think about making the sexy bits a bit more off-center, though.
