[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This squirrel's expression reminded me of my brother's reaction when his child found mischief yet again. For that reason, this is dedicated to all fathers out there.

I love the expression and I'm sure that all parents can relate to the squeezing of the eyes, a deep sigh, and an attempt to hold one's tongue.

This photo is intended to give you a smile; nothing more, but this capture was taken in a backyard where I totally make myself at home. I think, in all, there were eventually more than six squirrels raising havoc and raiding the birdfeeder. I was amazed that none of the squirrels found me to be a threat.

Father's Day is a wonderful tribute to all who have had those moments of exasperation followed by a chuckle or giggle. May all of you have many more of those moments!

No tripods were used, but I stayed on my belly to get this. I had squirrels running all over the place, and I admit to being a bit concerned that they might view my body as a fun object to race and chase each other over. I am pleased to admit that I did not become a road for these rascals!

Happy Father's Day, Dads!

Kathy :-)

You sure do have a way with taking pictures of animals, they all have an expression or a story but they all have a point in common: they are alive! A great picture, Kathy, it made me laugh and feel this little squirrel, lively with emotions. Thanks to you!

hehe, awesome expression! :-) although i at first thought he was sneezing, maybe because of hay fever from running through the grass with a cross reaction with nuts...bad idea..so i guess he was just into something naughty.
anyway, excellent capture, love the low pov along the grass and the nice sunlight. well done & best wishes, thor.
