[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This ladybug was spotted at 3.5 mile post of the Wilmington & Western Railroad right-of-way, while I was waiting for a train to come by. More correctly, this is Harmonia axyridis, the Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle, an introduced biological control agent. More information about this insect, can be found here.

Nice composition. The colour of the insect also little different than we saw normally.

Lois, Glad to see you posting again! Hope to see you at the photo walk!

This is a very interesting photo for two reasons: 1) you don't normally see a ladybug climbing on what looks like wheat, 2) I am used to seeing red ladybugs.

The lighting is a little on the dark side but the clarity and sharpness are there for the detail of the subject.
