[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
First posting in a LONG time on Trek Nature. Need to get back into the swing of things. Afraid I've even forgotten how to resize/sharpen my images, so bear with me folks! There was a day when we say butterflies all over the place, now they are a rare find in Montana. This one was basking on a rock next to Crow Creek Falls on Sunday, and it was one of the most beautiful spots in the world to be doing so!

welcome back & great capture of the pretty butterfly! :-) sharpness and details are really good, love the colors and
patterns on the wings and the composition with it sitting on a rock. well done & best wishes, thor.

Hi Kelly,

Welcome back with a wonderful shot of a dusky beauty, Wow!

Wonderful sharpness, great facial details especially the eyes (orange and black colored), nice POV and great DOF. There is a nice contrast between the butterfly's colors and the rock on which it is sitting.

Thanks for sharing.

With such a nice shot to see, we all welcome you back to TN, Kelly! I am sure there could not have been a better capture for you as I think it is sharp and well composed to the perfectness. Very well taken, thanks for sharing.
