This is a lovely full side-on view of the Baltimore Oriole. These are really beautiful
and colourful birds and you managed to show us why it is one of your favourites. I
like the simplistic image with the green OOF leaves in the BG, the twig running at
the diagonal angle and then suddenly, nearby the 2/3 vertical plane, it turns down
on a vertical line, and the only other object in the image is the bird with the slightest
hint of a highlight in the eye.
To you and your loved ones I wish a wonderful, healthy, and a prosperous 2010.
Well done and TFS.

This male Baltimore Oriole is well portayed from a great POV with fine use of flash to provide a good illumination that looks natural with fine colors and contrasting green BG. The features are well shown wwith excellent clarity.

This is as striking as the day I saw my first one at 3964 Riveredge Road...a small cottage on 1 acre near the metro parks...of course not called that back then. But after seeing this image and my memory banks...I do remember running into the cabin to ask my mother to come and see...and she told me..."Why Bobby! what a wonderful Baltimore Oriole you have seen...." and I felt special...just as this image does today Ron. god is interesting in the way he passes messages.....Good New Year to You and the family!

lovely colours and very exciting and lively pose of the bird.
You have composed the soft and smooth background to give the overall view so outstanding. The bird emerged out of the canvas in a vey pleasant capture.
Well presented shot.
These we have but so far I have only a few so so images. Nothing near this quality, the colors are outstanding and the details are razor sharp. Great posting Ron.
