[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These are the most common gulls around here, Ring-billed Gulls. Their scientific name, Larus delawarensis, mentions the the Delaware River but what you see in the background is actually the Hudson River with my favorite view of New York City.

Dear Claus
This is an excellent use of design to create a photo that makes one look and look and look. I find my eyes traveling back and forth between the foreground and background - first enjoying one and then the other. You have made good use of the extended depth of field in the FZ50. Very interesting and technically excellent photograph.
