this is an excellent photo, i love much more this kind of photos
of birds/wild animals with their habitat than the superb close-ups,
fine POV and framing, superb focus sharpness and details,
and a beautiful scenery as background, TFS

Hello Tom,
A super in-flight shot showing the Red-tail in full flight with his talons easily visible. Wonderful detail and beautiful colors along with just the right amount of exposure. Great work!!
I can't seem to get close to these guys here in Ohio for some strange reason or another. They always take off whenever I try to approach them.

Cool shot of the red-tailed hawk. Ridgefield is a really cool preserve. I have been reading up on it and will probably visit soon.
