Hello Bob, Welcome back!!
It just hasn't quite been the same since you've been gone, it's great seeing one of your shots once again. As evident by your photo, even the plants of our world are not immune from disease.
It seems strange, but there is a tree close to home that resembles this one in an amazing way. We always pass it on the way to church, and I remember our kids calling it the tree with a face when they were very young. TFS.

Good morning and wellcome back Rob,

Hope you feel better now! Good to see that you're still posting MF! You are always 1st class man and i am sure you'll deal with it.
I wish you all the best MF!
Have a nice sunday!
Cheers,

Bayram

Hello Bob and nice to see you back!
So, gooing out with the camera is something in your blood, and I hope will be the force in your struggle with the disease!
Tree cancer is not something beautiful, so ussualy we don't shoot such things. But are part of our nature, and we cannot ingnore it actually! The tumor is impressive but the tree is still alive. I would say, your picture is very simbolic, the battle between good (green leaves, but you as well- willing for life and sun and energy) and bad( cancer, disease). It seems that good is victorious!
Take care,
Oana

Hi Bob,

The point of view is allowing me to see the details and colors of the forms of the american maple. It is weel framed by the other trees. The light has a good effect on the colors. I am happy to see you back on TN, have a nice day.

Pierre

It's more than a maple, Bob; it's a true delight to see you back. I'm glad to see you outdoors and taking photos again. May this be the first of many more. I continue to wish you a speedy and full recovery!
