|This is a sleeping swan taken at the Tracy Aviary. Shhh!|
Swans are very bottom heavy so they can easily dunk over in the water to get at all the morsels on the floors of lakes, with the help of their long, elegant necks.
Swans are the largest, and often considered the most beautiful, of the waterfowl.
A male swan is known as a cob, a female is a pen, and the young are called cygnets.
