Love the shot Cathy, great BG and colors. Your whole picture is in focus, yet it does not take away from the main subject.
Well done and thanks for showing.
What a beautiful coyote, Cathy.
You have learned your lessons well, the one I am not sure we will get is the final point, as it seems to be a never-ending process.
The best attribute is a willing spirit and you appear to have that.
Wonderful natural setting in this well composed photo.
The only thing I might have changed is the tilt on the image.
I have done a ws to show you what I mean, I hope you don't mind.
Thank you for a great posting.

Superb photo. The tilt gives the photo some depth and I adore this background.
I'm not too fond of the workshop that was done. (no offence)
Shooting through glass can give a slight blue tone to the image, warming it up in Photoshop may have improved the colours in this a little.
Photo is still very good, well focused and well exposed..

Great shot, Cathy. That beautiful coyote was very cooperative with you. He is usually taking a nap when I go see him. The details are sharp throughout, and the lighting is excellent. I really like his pose and your composition. The natural BG is indeed very pleasing. The best part, however, is his eye contact with you. Congratulations on a wonderful capture, and TFS. : )

very very beautiful shot. very clear and sharp. the coyote is striking a good pose. but to me what makes this pic more interesting is the pebbles lying around! TFS!

Nice shot of the coyote, a very handsome animal.
Your composition is good. I like his shy look on his face and how you have captured him looking at you.

A lovely photo, especially being shot through glass...that has ruined many good shots of mine (especially of the pandas at our Zoo!). I think it might be a touch oversharpened, otherwise perfect.

Lovely shot Cathy,
Good detail and good POV. Nicely exposed. Nicely composed. Excellent notes and good colour. The image appears a touch soft on my monitor. The WS by Miles is great.
Well captured, thanks for posting
Wonderful shot of a much maligned animal (although I might be a bit more condemning if coyotes were more of a presence around here). I like the composition and focus. The color seems a bit blue and I posted a workshop to warm it.
