This is an excellent camouflage and the colors harmonizes well with the bark of the tree. Well exposed details and the that pop. Great framing and well metered exposure and details.

Brilliant shot Ron! Impressive camouflage! How did you spot it? Wow! I am sure that if you take the shot without a flash the deep shadows will disappear and the lizards will be totally lost for our eyes! Bravo, Ron fine discovery and wonderful execution!

George Veltchev
Your right Ron, in the thumbnail is looks like a boring shot of tree bark.

hello Ron
this is one of TN's greatest camouflage photo,
to put our eyes in difficulty Ron, you should
zoom less or take it a little bit from far
the lizard camouflaged being small on the image
it would take us several minutes to find him, TFS

Hello Ron,
very exciting shot that display a splendid camouflaging ability of the lizard. You have shown it very well and yet the details are seen in great view. The spikes on the skin are really special.
The texture of the tree bark enhance the composition too.
nicely presented with good eyeing skill.

Hello Ron,
A fine portrait of this well-camouflaged Gecko. The name suggests a S. European species, which makes one wonder if it was introduced into the USA.
The POV shows it to good advantage with excellent colours and sharpness.
Thanks and kind regards,
Ivan

Fantastic image that shows criptic coloration and patterns demonstrating the ability to camoflage into the environment with hardly a trace. Well done. :)
