[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The leopard was moving around on a very hot day so it was difficult to capture it the somewhat shady light and achieve the bokeh background.
While I shot a whole series of this leopard, I finally settled on this shot where for just a moment he stopped to look away so with a fairly slow shutter speed I could capture this image. |

Hi Larry,
I don't know why this image was uncritiqued, by my opinion it's a good one. Great focus / sharpness and shallow DoF (depth of field) to help to isolate the main subject from the uninteresting background. Nice color tones as well. Even that very bright "something" in the background is a bit disturbing, I consider this photo a good one. Thanks for sharing.
Have a nice weekend, best regards, László
Hello Larry
A beautiful portrait photo of the leopard,
its pose with the open mouth it is giving
dynamism to the photo, focus sharpness
and details are excellent, TFS
