|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This Barred Owl was photographed in Vermont at the VINS preserve.|
Used a 1.4x extender giving me 280mm FL to achieve a close-up of this raptor. I used the polarizer turned only partially to get the desired color saturation.
RAW and PS3/5 and Nik was used to sharpen, color balance, crop, and adjust the exposure bringing maximium attention to the subject.

very nice portrait of this owl. Perfect sharpness. I like this view of eyes. This deep black! Also suitable background.
Thanks for sharing.
this is a great close-up photo of the Barred Owl,
fine frontal POV and vertical framing, excellent focus
sharpness and details, beautiful eye-contact of the Owl
with excellent details of its dark eyes, TFS
A nice captured Barred Owl, very good sharpness and detail. In my opinion, left side pole is little disturbing, never mind carry on.
Hi Larry - good expression, nice capture, good sharpness. TFS
Fantastic sharpness and feather detail!
