Hi Brenda,
Very nice photo of this Allen's Hummingbird in good sharpness and ontrasting colours against the background. The chest is a bit over exposed. I made a workshop I hope you don't mind. Fine comopsition.

This is just beautiful. He posed for you and gave you the best profiel that he could. And you must have a steady hand at F5.6, 100mm focal lenth and 1/75th second exposure. Well done indeed. I could not resist the temptaion of doing a workshop and I apologise if you do not approve. I notice PeterZ has also done a workshop and, as you have probably noticed, he is a very accomplished bird photographer. But let me say again...very beautiful as is. Best wishes.

You are improving fast! Congratulations, my friend! This pic here is lovely and has a nice sharpness, POV and BG.I saw the WS from Peter and Neels.As I told you, a simple shot can be much better after a post processing.

For me, the colosr of this little hummingbird are so rare, wich I can call this "Aliens" instead "allens".... :)

Hello Brenda,
The Allens and Rufous are two of the only hummingbirds with this beautiful dominate coloration. A marvelous capture with just a tiny bit of overexosure on the breast. Well done!

Hi Brenda,
Beautiful first plane of the always wonderful hummingbirds.
You've got nice light and pose on your subject.
The dark and smooth background works great to stand out the feather's colours.
The only nit would be the slightly overexposed whites, on which we loose some details there.
