American Bald Eagle

About 30 meters from bird. Because of the temperatures, the bird had his feathers fluffed out making him look somewhat "scroungy".

Glorious capture, the warmth of the sunlight coming through those feathers. Great vantage point and presentation!
Hope you are doing fine friend. Oh, your American bald eagle is such a majestic bird and after years of watching American wildlife channels, one can never miss the awe and majesty of this national bird of the US of A. This seems to be taken from quite a long range but the shot is perfect and the posture of the eagle is a classic one. Yes, the sunlight through the tail feathers looks splendid.
Thanks a lot for sharing a wonderful photo and thanks a lot for liking my Asian Koel, I stand obliged, Michael.
Take care....warmest regards/Abid

A great shot of this beautiful Bald Eagle. I would love to be able to capture one in such a fine pose. I see form the white head and tail that this is a mature bird and looks to be in good condition. Well done!!
