Hello Mike,
Looks like you took this shot in some pretty bright light, which is not easy to do. Not a bad image, but It looks like your WB may be off a tad, as it has a bluish tint to it. Focus is a little soft, especially noticeable around the head area.
I'm not sure how crows react out west, but here they can be very elusive of humans. I would never be able to get close enough to obtain a shot like this. Nice work at capturing him preening his iridescent plumage.
