[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Gulf Fritillary as a late arrival to Southeastern Kansas, was a great surprise for me. This appears to be a brand new hatch in perfect condition as well. It was very cooperative, stopping often and for long periods, giving me many opportunities for a bright, spread-wing shot.

Excellent POV and focus. I did a WS to sharpen only the butterfly a bit. Hope you like. The daisies must be very tiny ... as it looks like the butterfly was placed over them and is seemingly much larger. I do like the image very much.

beautiful image of gulf filterry. nice angle and framing. interesting species. tfs.

Lovely picture and the patterns on the wings are perfect and a beauty to watch a well executed shot.
