[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Green Heron Hunting

Went through a few of my old pics and WOW can't believe I didn't upload this one yet. Been so busy with the "season", busy busy at work and home life. This lil green Heron gave me the best opportunity during his quest for food. My friend photographer was with me and at one point commenting when I was filming. Did capture the whole event and wrote a blog about it. It's a quick film..around 26 seconds worth. Amazing what we can experience in 26 seconds or more :0)

If so led here is my blog sharing the experience and quick slide and film.

Brenda,

There you go again ... getting so close you are gunna get pecked. Very nice. Where is the back end? You were probably juggling for all you were worth to get what you got in the frame.

Mike

Hello Brenda,
Very beautiful indeed and with great composition. Everything is just where it should be for best effect - the eye, the angle of the beak, the patterns on the wing - and just about all of it in very good sharpness. Considering that the conditions required long focal length and high ISO, it is understandable that the front of the beak is not quite sharp and the FOF is where it should be. Very well done indeed.

Hello Brenda,
Great timing showing this lucky fellow with his fresh lunch. Very good focus, sharpness and composition. Well done.Regards Siggi

Hi Brenda

Nice reflex shot from what seems to be close range but a perfect angle..Hope you catch next one in full and light conditions afford you a little more DOF. A good action shot nonetheless.

Thanks
Himanshu
