Solanaceae

These colorful berries are quite poisonous as are the other parts of this plant. These berries are less than one centimeter in length. The plant grows quite low to the ground and is somewhat associated with shaded and wet grassy areas. The blossoms are beautiful purple with robust yellow stamens (see previous submission).

Excellent clarity and demonstration of the 105mm macro lens. Always nice to see other works using this lens. :)

Hallo Michael
I can believe that these berries are poisonous but oh they look so yummy and very tempting. This is a great macro with lovely detail on the berries as well as on the plant. I like the variation of colour in the image as well as the composition, natural framing and point of view. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
Anna

berries look very attractive to make one to pluck and eat. when reading description i found it as poisonous. Misleading color for that fruit. good work. tfs.

Super natural picture. I like it. Congratulation. Un saludo.

Hi Michael,
Poisonous or not, you captured them beautifully, with excellent sharpness, DoF and composition. Probably, at least in my opinion, white balance was set a bit more to the yellow direction than the optimal - but the fact I did a WS doesn't mean I don't like your original shot. Just a different idea about setting levels and colors.
Have a prosperous new year, best regards, László
