|Desert Big Horn Sheep. While climbing on the mountain behind my home, I came upon this ram lying down on a huge rock. He subsequently got up and jumped off the rock to graze on dry grass around the snow patch. He was about 20 meters below me as I had popped over and peered from a cliff above him.|

in the thumbnail picture it is very difficult to recognize any animal!
in the full view now i understand what it is,(it is a real surprise) a back side of a Desert Big Horn Sheep taken in a very difficult situation!
