|Couldn't resist another magpie image. A group of magpies were frequently my yard yesterday. We have about a foot of snow on the ground, and they were frolicking in our snow covered pine trees.|
Hope you enjoy.

Excellent in-flight photo shot from far because
in your exifs I see your Focal Length is 400 mm,
but I think here you also did a heavy cropping
because we see noise on the dark areas of the plumage,
you shot at ISO1000, I am with the D5100 and also
I shoot at ISO1000 and I am amazed because no
digital noise, here Mike you should crop less
to not have the noise on the shadows,
the light coming to the wings is beautiful, TFS

Hi Mike, the details of the head are not the best, but very good on the open wings,i like the transparencies of the plumage in this position too, excellent work in the difficult winter light.I wish you all the best for the new year and thanks for share,Luciano

excellent job and you did very well here in freezing the moment and presenting best sharpness.
Beautiful in-flight capture with nice sharpness and clarity.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Michael, this is a great capture of this bird. I like the sharpness and POV. It does have some noise in it though. Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR
