Most probably, this is a BLACK-EYED SUSAN (Rudbeckia hirta). I found this lonely flower amongst the White Daisies and other spring wildflowers at Waseeka Wildlife Sanctuary, Hopkinton. One has to see this flower in the wild! The photographs available, show nothing.. what a beauty!!

Hello Ruby,
I have to admit when I first viewed your image I didn't think it was a Black-eyed Susan. I have never seen one with a reddish purple center before, only dark blackish ones.
I then searched images and found quite a few that looked exactly like yours. I guess you never stop learning new things about nature:)
Love the composition, detail and gorgeous natural colors!!
