[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I just received some filter lens and decides to try one of them. I used a +4 lens on my 24-70mm cannon. The sun is going down so I will hopefully get a of great shots tomorrow. Though I was able to capture this one today.

This is from wiki:

The Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis) is a dragonfly of the skimmer family. It is common and widely distributed in the United States. Male on a Lotus Leaf

Mature males develop a bluish-white pruinescence on the back of the abdomen and, in western individuals, on the thorax. They display this pruinescence to other males as a threat while defending territories at the edge of the water.

Although the species name longipennis means "long wings", the wings are not particularly long. Females do, however, have a short abdomen that makes the wings look longer in comparison.

Excellent start, dear Elena, with your new filter lens!
Wish you good luck also for tomorrow.
The dragonflies around my house are too nervous for photographing, but I'll try, one day...
Best regards,
Paul

Wow Elena, what a neat capture!!
Looks like your filter is already showing some excellent results. Love the clarity in this shot and beautiful colors. The head area is especially impressive, and those big blue eyes are captivating. Great work!! Good luck with your filters.
