|A slightly overcast day was perfect to bring out the colors in the this blue jay flaunting its tail at me at the suet feeder and obstinately refusing to perch on the more photogenic branch above it!!|
It is always hard to resist brightening the blue coloring - I think this is reasonably accurate

The Blue Jay is one of the prettiest birds we have here in Ohio, but for me they seem to be a real challenge to photograph. They always travel in small groups and seem to be weary of my presence. I would love to find one like yours which doesn't mind posing for a shot or two.
You have done a fine job of photographing this particular bird even though it didn't land on the branch you wanted it to.

very beautiful bird. The blue color is so pleasant and the pattern of the feathers is so special. Excellent pose and capture to appreciate the beauty.
