[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While in Oklahoma last week I came across a large number of these colorful and hungry caterpillars feeding on Oak leaves. The Pink-striped Oakworm Caterpillar can really do a job on leaves due to their sometime large numbers. The Moth will at time deposit several hundred eggs in a single cluster.

Whenever I visit my daughter in Tulsa I try to make a visit to Oxley Nature Center, which is a really neat place to hike. I found a cluster of these caterpillars while walking along the tree line of the meadow trail.

Nice close-up taken with long telelens. I am impressed with stunning details of the insects and leaf, fantastic colours and perfect use of flash light. Diagonal composition is also spot on. Well done and TFS.
