[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In my previous post I displayed a juvenile male Mourning Dove. The male and female look very similar in appearance, but the male has an iridescent bluish pink color on it's shoulder which runs down over it's breast. The female as you will notice lacks this distinct color or else it is not nearly as visible.

The feathers of the juvenile tends to have a more scaly look to them which can be seen around the head and front part of the breast of my previous post.

I will post a workshop image of the mate of this particular female which flew in with her.

Hi Ron,
Both images are exceptional - maybe I like the WS even a little bit more, due to the more saturated colors. But this shot is breathtaking, too. Fantastic usage of flash, simple yet great composition, excellent sharpness everywhere... Top class photo. Bravo.
