[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was out behind the house this evening trying to capture a photo of an Indigo Bunting when this Cedar Waxwing happened to drop by. It is not very often that I see these sleek looking birds, so I just had to take a shot.

This particular specimen was eating unripened berries from a Poke plant and didn't appear to mind posing for me. Waxwings seem to like traveling in groups, this bird was with about a half dozen others at the time.

As I stated earlier, I was really trying to get a photo of an Indigo Bunting which has been hanging around for the last few weeks. They are a real challenge and don't seem to like me getting too close. I will continue my quest another day....until then hope you enjoy this little beauty.

A very bright capture despite the difficult location,i like the composition and the beautiful colors, great detail too.Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Thanks for visiting my gallery. Nice specimen of bird. As usual a perfect focus. Excellent clarity and sharp details. This is a very nice colorful bird. I never meet the Bohemian waxwing found in Europe and North America......and I think a close relative to the Cedar waxwing.....
Thanks for sharing!
Marius.
