Hello Ori,
On our visit to California a few years back I had the good fortune to see this type of plant for the first time. It was quit amazing to see how they could survive in such a dry desert terrain, but they did quite well.
Living in Ohio we do not have this particular plant, so thank you for reminding me of it's uniqueness.
Photographed nicely under very intense sunny conditions. Exceptional detail and just the right exposure. Well done!!
