[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was up at Magee Marsh this past Monday and Tuesday trying to photograph migrating birds on their northward path into Canada. I was excited to capture this Wilson's Warbler yesterday afternoon just along the shoreline of Lake Erie.

The population of the Wilson's has been decreasing by about 2 percent over the past 30 years. This is probably due to the loss of streamside and riverside vegetation which it uses for breeding habitat as well as a food source during it's migration.

This beautiful warbler is easily distinguished from the Yellow Warbler by it's cute little black cap. There is nothing that will capture the attention of birders who visit Magee quicker then someone hollering out that a Wilson's has been spotted.
