[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Similar in appearance to the Snowberry Clearing moth and quite common in my state of Ohio. Often thought to be a baby hummingbird due to their hovering ability.

I have learned through trial and error that this is one species that is not easy to photograph, due to their continued movement.

I find these unique little moths like to visit flowers during the day while some species seem to prefer dusk.

Perfect camera settings to obtain such a sharp image of this constantly moving Hummingbird Moth, Ron.
Red flower it is hovering over adds beauty to the composition.

Ciao Ron, great capture of fantastic moth, lovely composition with beautiful flower, wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Attractive series of photographs composed with beautiful flowers and this moth that you baptized like hummingbird. Details of the insect that are most admirable for having been caught in mid-flight. Congratulations, RON !!!!

Hi Ron,
Although composition-wise a bit busy, a pretty colourful image, with sharp petals and moth. Majestic pink tone, and its aggressiveness is well contrasted by the calm grey background. Except for the wings the moth is tack sharp, too. Very interesting image, I like it!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
