[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I wanna see some princess jumping to bring me back... Dude, back off, not you! :)
Anyhow, on a serious note this is a "Litoria caerulea" also known as White's tree frog or smiling frog or dumpy tree frog.
The White's (or Dumpy) Treefrog is native to Australia and southern New Guinea. It can be found both in the northern and eastern parts of Australia (Badger 1995). More specifically from the coast to the drier interior of north western Austrailia, Northern Territory, Queensland, SA, and NSW (Cogger 1983).

... And one more thing, does this image qualifies as a macro or is it simply a close up?

Hi Radu,
Excellent shot on this portrait with excellent sharpness and very nice colour.
Thanks for sharing!

The Sharpness and detail is superb in this pic. The composition and POV = excellent! Well Done, TFS. Sheriff

Should I ask what an Indonesian frog is doing in your pool? Maybe not.
Nice closeup or macro depending on your point of view I guess. Well done.

Radu, this is nice profile of the princes, butyou didnot kess her. that is a problem and now shi is still a frog. ;-)
Excelent shot. It is hard to come so close and prepere a frog to stay still.

wow! HI:) Exellent composition... great shot!:) wonderfull... bye:)

Hi Radu,
This is an outstanding shot! Exposure looks superb here. The colors are well saturated. Detail is very sharp, and the DOF is perfect. I love the frame filling composition. True macro is life size on the frame, or a 1 to 1 ratio. I would say you have that here, and did it very well.

Hi, Radu.
Excellent frog portrait. Amazing good details, colors and sharpness. Eye is just perfect.

Nice profile Radu, I would think that there are many worse images to be connected to, a vulture comes to mind...

Excellent details, colors, catchlight, POV, exposure on this well composed macro/closeup. ;-)

Well done and thank you!

Cool portrait. Good detail. In fact too much for me to want to touch, let alone hug, or (heaven forbid!) kiss.

I like it very much.

Beautiful close-up of this Australian princess and coincidently it is found in QUEENsland as well as New Guinea. Well done Radu. :)

Hi Radu,
Nice image. I like the square crop which is unusual but works nicely. The eye is placed well in the frame and immediately catches my attention...then you look at that amazing skin colour and texture.

Yes, my second favourite animal to capture (after the penguin). Havent had the oppertunity to take even one shot. You did a really nice job, colours came out great, fine details, and even some humor. A great mix. TFS. Reina

Sharp detail and great colours. POV is perfect and I like the composition a lot.

Hola Radu: I don't like those of this species a lot but I should recognize that you have made an excellent work and your picture has artistic beauty, the texture of its trumpet or mouth seems of plastic (until it seems that this sealed and that it could not say "croak croak"), its eyes like honey or crystallized amber, and its neck, until it seems that I can see as this move when breathing, impressive, congratulations for your work, I don't know if with the technical specifications that you include I can calculate the distance because me to think in which to be the distance to the one which your you took this picture. A big and very rich image in details cordial Greetings. * Ninfa Urania *
