|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I took this in the late evening, when there was barely any light left. What I think I like most about this picture wasn't the pink flowers, but the fuzzy texture on the leaves! I increased the saturation of blue and magenta, and increased the contrast. How do you like it?|

Great color and details. I like the few raindrops that are still attached to the leafs of the flower. The DOF is perfect and crop is spot on. The details on the green leaf are very interesting.
This one is the best of your posted photographs!
At least when it comes to colours! May God bless you, since it is through nature and the world around us that we can perceive His majesty.
Following our conversation on the forum about ISO ratings and noise, I posted a workshop of this after running this through NeatImage. I don't know if you've used it before but it's a great tool.
Nice shot by the way.
Thanks Brian, for initiating the ISO discussion, Sounds like we are at about the same place in our photographic journey. I do use Neat Image. The free version works only on images up to 800pixels...so it is fine to use after you resize for TN. Be sure to sharpen after using it. The noise reduction tool in Photoshop Elements works pretty well also, but Neat Image seems better...however I just use it on the automatic settings as I don't understand all the options. I think Adrian's workshop really illustrates what it can do.
Thanks for posting yur dramatic, close cropped flower. I too like the fuzzy leaves, and the super blurred shallow depth of field background.
