Hello mister sparkles. He surely got his Sunday suit on and I am sure the zoologists are having a nightmare to try and describe this guys colours. Fortunately we nowadays have monitors and colour-cards that can handle 16 million colours as I am sure this guy utilise a great portion of the colour spectrum.
Your composition is good, amazing colours, perfect details, exceptional BG, and well managed exposure/lighting.
Great work and TFS.

I never rreally realised that pheasants were so attractive, well teh males I mean. Most seem to have these wonderful irridescent coloured feathers.
Manyee, this fellow is so EXOTIC. No wonder they are called that.... He's a beautiful fellow, he doesn't look real. Well done, thank you,

Say, this looks familiar! I can't get over how well your camera picks up the irridescent colors of these magnificent birds. One can almost feel the silky smoothness of those feathers. Nice background and framing.

wow - I missed this first time around, but thankfully I have seen it now. I live with pheasants everyday (there are around 8-10 in my 'garden' normally), but i have never seen one of the green or purple versions and isn't it something special.
I have always felt that the males have an amazing range of colours in them and this photo shows that wonderfully.
