John Muir Trail #7
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is Evolution Basin along the John Muir Trail. This shot was taken in the morning light with the still air allowing for a reflection in the lake. Most interesting to me is the contrast between the light in this shot, and the light in the one taken the day before. I especially love to flip between the two. It makes for a nice story about the impact of different lighting, probably better than the things I've done in the studio.|
Scanned from a 35mm negative. PP: A contrast, sharpen, resize and a border.
The next shot is posted here.

I really like the comparison. This is the sort of thing I do as well. Th elandscape is so very nice, but I think this scan needs a little more work on it, so I did a little for you. Hope you like it.

I guess I am going to dust off my hiking boots. This is well done. I have some trouble scanning old slides. Dust, I did store them well enough.
Lovely rugged scene.
