Great beautiful moment you have captured with your shot. The composition is perfect, the red & orange sky with the clouds looks very clear, and the rest of the sky is also very sharpness, very good DOF. The contrast of the black earth and the black tree with the BG is very good obtained. I like to see this image, it gives space to my eyes and also calm. Very pleasant. Thanks for sharing it Scott.

I like the regular shape of this tree, and how you've placed it in the frame. Dual sky colors are beautiful, and the whole image is very well exposed. Very fine branches details around the tree shape are also very good, as well as the sky colors seen by thru it. Very well done, Scott

What a magic sunrise. The silhouette of this tree together with the stunning colours created great impact. The composition is superb and the exposure was perfectly managed.

Hello Scott!
I like this image a lot not only because it happened to be taken on my 44th birthday. Seems like you're pretty much happy with the shot but not too excited, because there's nothing to the sunrise other than the lone tree? Would you rather like not to be able to see the sunrise because anywhere you go there's trees around you? Welcome to NYC suburbs, the earliest you can see the sun is when it rises above the tree line. Not really the best place to shoot sunsets and sunrises...
