Pleasure of my eye is this splendid scene, which you are perfectly catch.I like power coloured flowerage forward-gorgeous contrast with white height mountains.A too beautiful light, superb compo and fine details.Excellent work!!Congratulate and thank you very much for sharing.
Spectacular Evelynn...this would make such a great landscape painting. The mountain in the background has such wonderful hues of blue and grey. The glaciers making their way down the slopes add some nice interest. And of course the colours autumn colours in the foreground a just gorgeous. A really great shot Evelynn.

Très beau ce paysage. La montagne est d'une netteté impeccable et la touche de couleur des fleurs de l'avant plan est géniale. Tout ça découpé par la silhouette des conifères...
Bravo et merci du partage

What a great view! Youve composed this pivture very nicely! I love the use of light here and DOF! The mountain in the background and the autumn colours in the foreground makes this a fantastic picture. I really like it!

Very nice Evelynn! I like how you posiitoned Rainier in comparison to the FG fall colours. The band of trees is a nice addition too. Looks like you did some pretty good PS work to help even things out.

Excellent shot and great PP works in managing light condition. Nice light gradation from FG to BG. Deeper DoF chosen [using smaller aperture]is excellent for this landscape shot, so we are able to enjoy colorful flowering plants at FG, rows of evergreen pine trees, and snowy rocky mountain at BG.
This is one of my favorite.

Splendid fall landscape you managed here!
I really like the contrast between the shadows in the FG and the warm lovely light in the BG...it makes suck a beautiful transition ;)
Also the colors and tones are simply outstanding, the details are great throughout and the POV is excellent.
Very well framed and composed, too.
Bravo and TFS

Evelynn (the inventor of the bipod),
Very beautiful landscape. No OE to the left side of the mountain IMO...there's detail!
I have no problem with one side of a mountain being brighter than the other especially when it is in the sun. The foreground and patch of light in the trees are wonderful, but I can't help feeling I'm missing half the picture (grin)! Anyhow I like it...

Ok, I will stop nagging about the DOF, since you now know why to do it. Just see the details in the FG. It is claiming my attention first and then lets me move on toward the mountain. I really like the lighting in this photo, especially on the mountain. Love the details on the glacier and the beautiful colored sky. I can understand why Emma feels she sees half of the photo, but Mt. Rainier is that big that it is hard to get in one shot from this distance.

Another beautiful composition, Evelynn. Perfect job with the DoF -- I think it was worth putting up with Neik for. ;-) I really like the exposure range I can see in the evergreen trees here -- almost black to light green. I agree with Emma that it does feel just a bit tight, but I do like the compression effect from the telephoto.

The light here is really amazing... looks like a painting of the XIX century!
