[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found these flowers on the side of the road at the edge of the woods. I don't know what they are.. maybe crocuses? They have white petals with lots of pollen in the center.

There must have been about 200 or so of these flowers growing along the side of the road, so I stopped and ended up taking about seventy pictures of them. I tried lots of different points of view. The lighting at the time was perfect, because the flowers were on a slope and the sun was hitting them completely from the side.

After reviewing all of the shots, this was one of my favorites. I thought that the colors didn't really make this photo so special, it was the lighting, contrast, and shadows. It was for that reason that I decided to make it a black and white photo.

hi brian,
nice flowers captured with a good POV.seeing the bottom petals of the foreground flower would be a plus and i hope i could see the colours of the flowers.
