[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Some type of moss I found while on my hike on the Catoctin Hiking Trail, somewhere near a long stream that parallels the trail. The moss is a beautiful green color, and I'm usually such a sucker for lush green moss.. I just can't get enough of it. However, I tried this picture out in B&W just for the heck of it, and it looked amazing! It's no wonder why I call this picture "Nature's Hair."

Side note: Does anybody know what category "moss" would fall in under the category menu you have to select from when posting a picture? I selected "Rain Forest" from the menu because nothing else even came close to fitting. For those who don't know, all moss fits into the Bryophyta classification (not sure if Bryophyta is the genus name or species name). Thanks, and enjoy!

Brian,

Fascinating lighting and contrast here, so thye BW works pretty good. I might have cropped out the blurry bit along the bottom, but other than that, it does look rather cool.
