|Lighting was bright, but from a low angle.. the picture was taken early in the morning when there was still a lot of dew on everything. I was hiking through the woods when I looked down and saw a beautiful arrangement of these flan / coffee colored mushrooms. I only took about three pictures of them, but this one had the best focus and angle. Does anyone know what kind of mushrooms these are? They were pretty small, maybe an inch or so across at the top, and only a couple of inches tall.|

I love the colours and the focus of this.. so nice and rich, and shrooms are one of my favorite plants/fungus
You touch here my favoutite subject, fungi.
And I like to see fungui from overseas, as there are not a lot of shots in TN of american mushrooms.
I am sure this are Coprinus micaceus, if you make a search here in TN you will find a lot of european an even australian shots of this same specie.
You got nice and saturated colurs to show the textures of this crowd.
Nice to meet you, thanks 4 sharing, Felipe.
PD: Might also be Coprinus disseminatus, but I am almost convinced thay are micaceus.
