this is a beauty, looks like our Viola tricolor.
The colours are just lovely. The DOF and compostion are very god too.
Great work, my friend.

Hi Mike,
a beatuiful little violet pansy with lovely flowers.
POV, light and DOF are wonderful.
I love the presentation.

I like it Mike, but I'm wondering if perhaps a bit more telephoto on the pansy might have made for a more blurred and consistent background? The bright yellow BG almost blends in to the pansy's outline at the bottom of the flower. Nice lighting on the pansy though; you did well considering the light was a bit on the bright side.

Hi Mike,
A bit of a late one last night (work not fun!!). Just time for a very quick visit.
Thanks for posting, well worth a big smiley.

Hi Mike,
Very nice combination of beautiful colors..
I like the overall impression one gets when first you look..
I think the title says it all :)

Hi Mike

Nice to see a post from you! Hows the back? This is a lovely delicate shot. Beautiful colours with a fitting title. Lovely to view. Thank you!

Hi Mike, great shot!!
Colors and details are super, compo is great.

Beautiful flower! Almost floating and very effective blurred background.
Well done Mike...

Very good close up Mike of this tiny flower.

Hi Mike, yes it is like a Viola tricolor, alwats so soft and tender, but can grow real wildly at times!!
A very artistic calender shot, quite beautiful, thank you,

Beautifully simple and lovely saturated colours.
The wide frame does set it off well but at the expense of detail in the subject.

Hi Mike,
This is a beautiful photo. My Grandmother always called those wild things Johnny Jump Ups...:o) love the colors!
