[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture along Skyline Drive while on a short trip to Shenandoah National Park. These yellow flowers (not sure what type) line many miles of the historical Skyline Drive, which runs over 100 miles north/south all the way through the park. I nearly killed myself to get this shot, because these flowers were on the edge of a very curvy stretch of the drive and a fast car came around the bend just as I shot this picture. Fortunatley, both the picture and I turned out OK. :)

As far as post processing....

Colors- I used to adjust my colors only by increasing levels using the hue saturation tool. Problem with that is if you increase a certain color too much it creates noise. So for this picture, I used the magic wand to select the sky and then used the color balance tool to "aim" the hue towards a more desirable shade of cyan/blue. Then I selected the yellow flowers and used the same tool to barely intensify the yellow petals. Other than that, nothing was changed. I was proud of myself for getting the exposure and cropping right before shooting the picture!
