[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Narooma, on the east coast of Australia, has some of the clearest waters I have ever seen. Largely this is due to the lack of rivers running into the ocean, which reduced sediment. Before departing on a boat for Montague Island, we saw several of these in Narooma Harbor where I took this photo. On the trip to Montague Island the ocean was filled with these.

(I haven't been able to find out much information on them, but if you have some, please let me know).

Hi Mike and Happy New Year.
You've captured a very unusual looking jellyfish. I've never seen this species before...probably because I haven't been to Australia. Your right about the clarity of the water, it looks so clean. Awesome colour and detail.
