[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this stick insect in tea-tree bush instead of being in a eucalypt where they can easilt become invisible when adopting their stick pose.

I'm reasonably sure its a male Spur-legged Stick Insect (Didymuria violescens), but I'm happy to be corrected if its not. It was about 120mm long.

Found in Budderoo National Park.

J'ai idée que le plus difficile c'est de repérer l'insecte.
Bonne journée.

Hi Chris

Another interesing and rare thing here on TN :) I love it!
These are really amazing creatures and thanks to you we get to see more of them here :)
The details and colors on this one are lovely and the lighting is also good.
If i may make a small suggestion: try placing it on another small twig so it would stand out better and peaople can se better what ezactly are they trying to mimic.

Cheers and TFS

Hi Chris,
Interesting stick insect. Besides from long body, the different shades of green also a great camouflage strategy. Well done and well seen picture.
