Second picture for this species (I'm fond of its colors).

It's a small parrot (25 to 30 cm, 100 to 150 g).
It is common in coastal areas from Eastern Queensland up to South Australia. It lives in woodlands of all types including mangroves.
It is also found in eastern Indonesia, New Caledonia and some Pacific islands. It was introduced in China.
The bird is quite noisy, especially since it can live in a large band.
It is quite familiar and doesn't hesitate to come in urbanized areas to feed on fruit, pollen and nectar - its tongue is equipped with a papillate appendage adapted to gathering pollen and nectar from flowers.

I had to crop the picture because environment was unpleasant.

Malgré le léger voile enveloppant l'image je la préfère à ta précédente publication sur le même sujet à cause d'un cadrage plus serré permettant d'apprécier davantage la finesse des détails.
