|Another impression from Seal Bay on Kangaroo Island. On a ranger guided Tour you can walk the beach every 45 minutes and watch a breeding colony of New Zealand Fur Seals. You can come closer to this endangered species than on any other inhabited island in the South Pacific.|
Except their smell these animals are extremely peacefull and tolerant. Only the males seriously guard their harems and would attack everyone that comes too close. The picture shows a bunch of females enjoying the warm sand after fishing in the cold sea.
