Hello Pierre,
This is a great portrait of a species of Monitor that we did not see during our visit to Australia. The sharpness, lighting, POV, pose and composition are all very good of this head and neck capture and the composition is pleasing.

A sharp and detailed portrait. Nice composition and DOF. Cropping to 16:9 aspect ration and removing empty area above the head would be my choice. I posted a workshop if you don't mind. TFS

Wonderful shot of this Water Monitor with very impressive sharpness and colours on its scales. That eye looks very expressive. Superb lighting and exposure and I like its cute pose. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
