A superb capture James!
The Comb-crested Jacana was a species we hoped for but missed.
The lighting, POV and timng to see the special way of walking is great. Nice composition with its reflection and reeds.

Hi James,

Well composed and good color tone!
I saw this bird firstly and interesting in red color of head. And, it draws out a good effect in the entire image on the shadow stalk and bird, I think.

I wasn't fortunate enough to see a Comb-crested Jacana when I was in Australia. He's so cute - he looks like he is wearing a red hat! A fine shot with excellent colors and details. I love the setting and the reflection.

What a beautiful Jacana you captured in Queensland! Presumably not easy to see! Excellent capture with sharp focus on the eye and showing the red crest very clearly. A fine composition too.
