|Marry Christmas to all TN members.|
My second visit Botanic Garden-Brisbane (in Chrismas day).
I think this is one of the Christmas gift and I am happy with it...
This is a challenge for me to take a shot for a black insect and especially under the shade but I enjoyed.
Body length 20mm
Family Fulgoridae, Unknown ID? This hopper has the black head and black wings with orange spots cover, the beauty is the eye color same with the wing spot color. Its abdomen is bright green in color.
Once again, Marry Christmas to all TNs,
marianas, cicindela, Mello has marked this note useful

Waw...what a beautiful capture this wonderful moth!
Very sharp details and colors.
This little bug loks really great, I have never seen species from this insect group coloured in such way.
Beautiful sharpness, DOF and clarity.
All the best and Merry Christmas!
